I was very blessed to have joined Orlando Weeks (previously of The Macabees) with four other members London Contemporary Voices for his live rendition of his most recent project, The Gritterman, at Union Chapel.
The Gritterman is a quietly stunning album with narration by actor Paul Whitehouse as he reads the touching original story written by Orlando Weeks above it.
You can purchase the book of this simple, heart wrenching story of a gritter man’s last night on the job before he is made redundant, with original artworks again by Weeks. It was a real honour to be a part of the live show’s virgin performance and to work alongside a true artist.
