I was thrilled to be invited back to join Orlando Week‘s The Gritterman Live with full band and Paul Whitehouse, representing London Contemporary Voices.
We did a one-off performance last Christmas (2017) and I was so glad to come together again, this time for three shows – two at Union Chapel, London and another at The Royal Albert Hall, Manchester.
Working with Orlando has, without a doubt, led to some of my most treasured performance memories and I hope we get to bring the Gritterman to life again in the future.
Pick up a copy of his beautifully self written and illustrated book and read the worlds Paul Whitehouse brought to life for yourself – here.
“An evening of rapt faces young and old as Orlando Weeks sings a new kind of song.” The Telegraph
“A life without gritting is no life at all,” concluded the Gritterman, bringing to a close a concert that ended with a standing ovation and a feeling of togetherness.” The Times
