Basement Jaxx – Peace One Day

Peace Day, 21st September was a huge day.

We celebrated at the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, performing as part of the Peace One Day 20th Anniversary Celebration event.

It was a mad, wonderful day of running around as various parts of my musical world collided.

I performing as a vocalist with Basement Jaxx and as a cellist for Maya Youssef with London Contemporary Voices and performed a set with my Citizens of the World Choir, which was an incredibly proud moment.

I was also particularly proud to have arranged a version of John Lennon’s Imagine, performed by Basement Jaxx, LCV and COTW choir collectively.

We performed on the same bill as Sting, Mark Rylance, Jude Law, Emeli Sande, Will Young and Jack Savoretti.

It was a very proud moment – here’s to many more.
