Musical Direction
“Her contribution to our last show at the Royal Albert Hall was invaluable and her ability to adapt to what was needed meant that I could relax and focus on the performance. Excellent collaborator.”

“I was introduced to Meg in 2018 and have worked on a huge number of projects since - from feature films to advertising to records. She is an incredible orchestrator, arranger and recording musician. I always think of her when I am crewing up for a new project - she is a dream to work with and nails it very time, no matter what she is working on."
Hugo Goggin, ThunderDrum Music / Artist / Composer
︎ Shibbir Ahmed; Choral Conductor / Nitin Sawhney @ Royal Albert Hall

“Eight years ago, we were introduced to Meg as a music teacher for our daughter, Orla. We got lucky because she’s been so much more - a wise companion, a genuine friend, a source of inspiration, and probably the best role model we could ever have hoped for.
Meg combines ridiculous talent with Jedi patience and manages to serve it all up in a way that is brilliantly adapted to her students. We’ve watched Orla steadily master the skills and move up through the grades. But Meg’s lessons extend far beyond the technical stuff. She’s nurtured Orla’s love of music, opening her ears to music as a form of self-expression and encouraging her to experiment. She’s helped her understand that music isn’t confined to doing your scales in a practice room; it’s about production, performance, feel and harmony. She’s taught Orla not only the discipline of playing music but the joy of creating it and the thrill of performing it.
What really sets Meg apart, though, is her ability to strike a chord not just in music but in life. Orla hasn’t just learned notes; she’s absorbed self-belief, gained insight, and found a friend in Meg. From creating practice schedules to dissecting song structures to navigating teenage dramas, Meg has brought humour and wisdom in equal measure. As parents, seeing them perform together has been a true highlight, and a testament to the genuine connection they share.
I run out of superlatives with Meg but, honestly, it’s so rare to find someone who wears such talent so lightly. There are lots of music teachers out there who can get you through the scales and rack up the grades; but if you want a guide who can nurture a genuine love of music and unleash its potential, choose Meg!” Matt
